Kim Johnson is a writer and speaker, and has been a contributing author in books published by Concordia University, Tyndale House and Kregal Publications. Her book, Working Women's Devotions to Go was published in 2007. With a degree in Christian Business, she has extensive experience in church ministry along with a secular career as a legal secretary.

As a pastor's wife with two teenage daughters, she experienced a devastating, unwanted divorce. God used that experience to equip her and she has been leading adult divorce recovery classes for many years. After constant requests from parents for information to help their teens cope with the fallout from their divorce, Kim wrote a book for teens based on her knowledge.  It was published and released in 2020.

Kim retired from her position as assistant to the Chief Counsel for the Disneyland Resort after a 20-year career. She also served for five years as Chairman and Secretary of the Board for NEWIM (Network of Evangelical Women in Ministry).

She and her husband reside in Southern California and volunteer as Ministry Partners at their local church. They enjoy camping, hiking and fishing, and have a blended family of four adult children and ten grandchildren.
